COURSE DESCRIPTION

An introduction to the Greek of the New Testament with readings from selected NT passages (3 hours).

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to...

  • Define all the words that occur 50 times or more in the Greek NT.
  • Write out select memory paradigms.
  • Parse various parts of speech (verbs, nouns, adjectives, participles) covered in the text.
  • Translate selected sections of the NT covered in class.
  • Describe basic Greek exegetical resources and their value.
  • Pass a standardized Final exam.
