Many scholars today argue for a highly organized structure for the Psalter. Several scholars present a chiastic structure of Psalms 15-24, with Psalm 19 being the focal point of this section. A chiasm is a presentation of material in which a central point (or in this case, an entire Psalm) becomes the focus.
Using Jim Hamilton's chiasm below, read through these Psalms and in 1-2 pages, discuss Psalm 19 as the central focal point of this section. Why Psalm 19 as the focus? What is the relationship between Psalm 19 and the surrounding chiasm?
Feel free to use your textbook or other resources in order to know the meaning and focus of these Psalms and draw substantive conclusions. The 1-2 page report is not a formal research paper, but also should not be bullet points or note-style. Write in complete sentences, and if necessary cite additional works to avoid plagiarism.
